Kay Syrad

Kay Syrad has published two full collections – Double Edge (Pighog 2012) and Inland (Cinnamon Press 2015) – and a collaborative work of poetry, prose and images, Exchange (Little Toller 2015), with land artist Chris Drury. Together, she and Clare Whistler are kin’d & kin’d, a composite eco-poet, and have recently had collaborative poetry published in Coast to Coast to Coast, Finished Creatures and Magma. The pair have edited three anthologies of eco-poetry written by participants on courses they have run since 2018: Poemish & Other Languages; Poemish of the Wildand; and fabric-ation (all Elephant Press, 2019-20). Kay’s new collection, What is near, is forthcoming with Cinnamon Press in September.
